Protect Environmental's Radon Mitigation team is seeking a Field Technician to install, repair, and maintain radon systems in the field across the United States. You will educate customers on operation and safety while upholding company standards and procedures.

The role offers a clear path for growth, paid training, and a full benefits package. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 60 pounds are required, with NRPP certification to be obtained within the timeline.

In this role, you’ll install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems, support customers by teaching them how to use their equipment, troubleshoot issues in the field, and ensure all work aligns with company standards and procedures.

We are offering a $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for this position!

We Think You're a Great Fit If You:

• Are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands‑on work
• Have 1 or more years of experience in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance is preferred
• Take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Can work independently and follow established procedures
• Are dependable, organized, and punctual
• Are comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

What You Will Be Doing:

• Install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and post‑installation testing
• Educate customers on system operation and maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and warehouse space
• Occasionally perform light digging or excavation at job sites
• Document job details according to company policy
• Represent Protect Environmental in a professional, customer‑focused manner
• Respond promptly to customer concerns and service needs

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or building maintenance is a plus
• This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing ladders and lifting of equipment
• The job requires good physical health and ability to perform hands on construction work
• Capable of occasionally working in crawl spaces, in attics and on roofs
• Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds
• Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to obtain NRPP certification for radon mitigation within required timeline
