Job summary

Protect Environmental is seeking a Field Technician to join our Radon Mitigation team. You will install, repair, and maintain radon systems, troubleshoot in the field, and educate customers on proper operation and maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year in construction or related trades, and a valid driver's license. Training provided; some roles require NRPP certification within timeline; expect fieldwork in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or building maintenance is a plus.
• NRPP certification for radon mitigation or progress toward it.
• Must be able to stand, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems.
• Diagnose issues and perform post-install testing.
• Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Keep company vehicle and workspace clean and organized.
• Occasionally perform light digging or excavation at job sites.
• Document job details per policy.
• Represent Protect Environmental professionally to customers.
• Respond promptly to service needs.
