Job summary

Construction Specialties, Inc. is seeking a technical support specialist to answer installation and product questions, gather data, and provide timely responses.

You will coordinate travel for site startups and troubleshooting while building strong relations with customers and sales reps. You will work with R&D, manufacturing, drafting, and customer service to obtain needed data, review orders for discrepancies, analyze site issues, and contribute to product improvements.

Qualifications

• Prefer a 2 year degree in Business, Drafting or related field and 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with customers and teams.
• Willingness to travel 15%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to answer installation and product questions.
• Coordinate travel for site startups, product replacements and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with R&D, manufacturing, drafting and customer service to obtain needed data.
• Review pack slips and shop orders for discrepancies and no-charge orders.
• Analyze installation issues from site photos/videos and determine causes.
• Maintain trip reports and submit expense reports promptly.
• Ensure conformance to ISO 14001 EMS during job functions.
• Travel to job sites for startup supervision and on-site inspections as needed.
