Job summary

Kingspan Roofing and Waterproofing is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to assist customers through roofing projects, applying best practices and knowledge of Kingspan systems. Travel may be required to provide in-field consultation and training to sales teams, contractors, and project professionals.

You will help develop technical literature, support warranty processes, and provide architectural and technical assistance to drive projects and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers both in-house and in the field.
• Do the estimation for all quantities of the materials for the roof system in the requested projects.
• Do the technical calculations and support requested for the roof system: Thermal conductivity, wind load for fastening patterns, Reflectivity, etc.
• Support our Brand and roofing systems through technical assistance.
• Develop, Structure and maintain Technical Documents.
• Be involved in developing and maintaining all necessary codes, testing and regulations as proper support to develop our roofing business.
• Support and participate in our warranty systems supporting the customers and optimize customers satisfaction
• Execute the training program for contractors and customers. Train the new and seasoned members of the sales force as needed, as well as train contractors on application techniques
• Support Sales and Marketing with technical information
• Closely work with the Sales and Specifications team to win projects through excellence and expertise in technical support.
