Job summary

ALTA Performance Materials is seeking a technically skilled professional to deliver on-site and remote technical support for its portfolio of resins, gel coats, and additives. The role focuses on understanding customer processes, guiding product usage, and optimizing performance across end markets.

The position requires strong problem solving, clear technical reporting, and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, with a commitment to safety and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field relevant to composites/chemicals.
• Experience in composites, resins, polymers, or related environment preferred.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers on products, processes, and performance.
• Develop understanding of product portfolio, technologies and end markets.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and collaborate on effective solutions.
• Conduct onsite visits, assessments, trials, and evaluations.
• Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare detailed technical service reports documenting visits and results.
• Partner with Sales to grow existing business and develop new opportunities.
• Share customer and market insights to support product development.
