Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Technical Services Representative to drive sales for the General Industrial division. The role involves traveling to customer sites, providing product and application support, and acting as a technical liaison between customers, sales, and operations.

You will address technical questions, assist with paint specifications, and train customers on application methods while supporting growth in the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be willing to travel and to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Research and communicate product knowledge and trends in General Industrial markets and technologies.
• Communicate competitive information, new products, and selling issues to Sales Force.
• Build relationships with customers by understanding and supporting their business.
• Assist customers with identifying paint specifications, inventory control, and re-ordering needs.
• Advise customers of product line changes and improvements.
• Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints.
• Manage product test runs and conduct technical training at customer facilities.
• Assist with equipment installations and line modifications.
• Assist Sales Reps in generating leads and preparing samples for presentations.
• Provide technical support for product demonstrations.
