Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a Technical Services Representative in Eugene, OR. The TSR will work in the field to provide product, application, and technical support, liaising between technical, sales, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role involves up to 50% travel, troubleshooting and coordinating service needs, and training customers on color matching equipment and product use. Benefits include health coverage and extensive paid leave.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one year coatings experience.
• Must have at least one year of performance appraisals or meeting expectations (internal).
• Must have at least one year experience in Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Must have at least one year experience in Salesforce.
• Must be able to travel as required by the position.
• Must pass a vision test and respirator fit test.
• Must be able to use a laptop/tablet and a phone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer product, equipment and service expectations are met.
• Help achieve or exceed sales and profitability goals.
• Support customers, including color QC and color development.
• Train customers on product knowledge and usage.
• Coordinate technical service issues between SHW facilities, plants, and sales teams.
• Prepare samples and presentations for customers.
• Maintain accurate records of demonstrations and line surveys.
• Assist in color verification and field color formulations.
• Participate in corporate initiatives to improve Technical Services.
