Augusta Communications, Inc. in the United States is seeking a skilled installer to fit mobile and fixed radio equipment in commercial and public safety vehicles. You will follow industry standards and Motorola R56 guidelines, and document all work.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, record-keeping, and maintenance tasks. A high school diploma, ability to lift 50 pounds, and successful background and drug checks are required; Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.

Qualifications

• Understanding of two-way radio equipment and systems or background in electronic equipment installations.
• Willing to complete/certifications from ETA and/or FCC when required.
• Organized and flexible, eager to learn, and able to listen.

Responsabilités

• Install mobile radio equipment and related accessories in various vehicles following industry standards.
• Install fixed station equipment per drawings and Motorola R56 standards under supervision.
• Complete and submit written and visual documentation of work.
• Process daily repair orders by troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
• Maintain system records for company and customer systems.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Understand electronics related to vehicle voltage, grounding, and mobile antenna systems.
