Job summary

Eastern Communications, a nationwide critical communications provider, is seeking a Radio Frequency Technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot RF systems supporting public safety, utilities, and transportation. Based at a local service center with occasional travel.

You will diagnose issues, perform firmware updates, calibrations, and assist with upgrades while maintaining documentation and FCC safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical experience or an associate’s degree in electronics/telecommunications.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for operations and training.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, repair RF equipment and systems.
• Diagnose signal, interference, and hardware issues.
• Perform testing, firmware updates, and calibration.
• Maintain documentation and service records.
• Travel to field sites for installations and training.
• Ensure FCC compliance and safety standards.
• Provide prompt customer support and collaborate with team.
