Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Radio Technician to install, maintain, and repair communications equipment and systems on job sites.

You will work with Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices, perform diagnostics, and document service records while coordinating with project managers to keep schedules on track. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of radio tech or automotive wiring experience, a solid understanding of 12V/24V systems, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; additional education preferred.
• 1–3 years radio tech installation/repair or 1–3 years automotive wiring experience.
• Basic understanding of 12- and 24-volt systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel >50% of the time.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Familiar with electrical codes, safety practices and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain communication systems on job sites.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices.
• Perform diagnostics tests on communication equipment and systems.
• Document and report accurate service records.
• Coordinate with project managers to keep projects on schedule and on time.
• Provide field support to ensure active communication lines throughout projects.
