Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Radio Technician to install, maintain, and repair communications equipment and related infrastructure on job sites. You will work with Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices to ensure systems operate throughout projects.

Travel up to 50%+, collaborating with project managers while documenting service records and supporting field end users to maintain reliable communication lines during project progress.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required; education beyond high school preferred.
• 1-3 years of radio technology installation/service experience or 1-3 years of automotive wiring experience.
• Familiar with 12- & 24-volt systems; strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain communication systems on job sites.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices.
• Perform diagnostics tests on communication equipment and systems.
• Document and report accurate service records.
• Coordinate with project managers to keep projects on schedule and services timely.
• Provide field support to end users to ensure active communication lines during progress.
