Job summary

MiTek is seeking a field-based software support and training specialist to build and maintain strong customer relationships across PA, NJ, VA and parts of OH. You will provide on-site and virtual technical support for the MiTek Component Manufacturer Software Suite and train users to maximize value.

You will work with product teams to relay feedback, assist sales with upsell opportunities, and document visits in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required
• 1-2 years troubleshooting/IT experience in a related field
• 2+ years in component manufacturing preferred
• 2+ years framing/architectural estimating a plus
• Ability to read prints and schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Serve as primary contact for software technical inquiries and ownership of customer satisfaction
• Provide on-site technical support for software installation, functionality and best practices
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on software features
• Stay up-to-date with MiTek software updates and communicate benefits to clients
• Collaborate with product development to relay feedback and suggest improvements
• Assist sales in identifying upsell opportunities for software features or services
• Maintain records of customer interactions, support, and training sessions
• Provide regular reports on customer feedback and opportunities for improvement
• Provide software installation, training and support on-site and virtually for Truss Design, Layout, Business Application, Production, and Reporting
• Research and resolve software issues submitted by customers
• Collaborate with Product Management to fix software defects
• Particularly basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL
• Basic modifications to MiTek Management or MiTek Structure reports
• Submit visit summaries in Salesforce
