Job summary

MiTek Industries seeks a software deployment specialist to facilitate the successful implementation of our Software Suite at customer sites. You will install, configure and train users while ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth deployment across projects.

The role requires 1-2 years in the Building Component Industry, ability to read prints and schematics, use hand tools and MS Office, and involves up to 70% travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Associates Computer and Information Science preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
• 1-2 Years experience in the Building Component Industry required
• Able to perform mathematical skills such as calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and able to apply concepts of basic geometry
• Ability to read and understand prints and schematics
• Ability to use small hand-power tools, including reading a tape measure with 1/32-inch increments
• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

Responsibilities

• Manage the project of converting client's software suite from older platform or competitor software
• Perform needs analysis of existing client software configurations and recommend tailored solutions
• Install, configure, and train users on company's Software Suite.
• Communicate identified software issues and potential enhancements to product management
• Provide demonstration of software functionalities to potential customers
• Update sales teams and clients on the status of ongoing software conversions
• Collaborate with team members for troubleshooting and improving software deployment processes
