Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. in Ellabell, GA, is seeking a Field Technical Service Representative to support automotive coatings.

You will perform line performance tracking, troubleshoot color and appearance, manage inventory, and support new color programs. This role emphasizes collaboration with the account team and Cleveland personnel, handling data reporting, technical service needs, and process improvements to boost paint production and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or minimum of 2 years of customer-based technical experience in automotive paints.
• Computer and software skills, data interpretation, and report writing.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities; customer focus and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with key customer contacts.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and projects with customer base and Cleveland personnel.
• Monitor NPAA online performance and quality for processing, color, and appearance.
• Communicate problems and improvements to Design Team, QA, Color Lab, and Production.
• Gather build data, inventory, and usage info for Account Manager and Supply Demand planning.
• Collaborate with Sales to resolve pricing, credit, debit, and RGA issues.
• Implement and track value-added activities to improve the paint production process.
• Analyze paint problems and determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Generate reports, data, presentations, and documentation for the account.
• Coordinate and execute technical service needs of the customer.
• Recommend process changes for product performance improvement.
• Coordinate sample submissions and production trials.
• Participate in the CIA program.
• Assist in development of line correlation and formula verification.
• Communicate color adjustments completed on batches to on-site reps and Cleveland personnel.
• Manage consignment program at the customer if required.
