Job summary

Black Box is seeking a Field Support Technician to gain hands-on experience across the country by supporting low-voltage and network infrastructure projects.

You’ll install, troubleshoot, and maintain systems, read blueprints, and work with testing equipment while growing your technical skills. Travel is 100% and you’ll be part of a collaborative team with ample training and certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• Early-career talent with vocational/technical training or strong interest in technology.
• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and installation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a high-performing team.
• Bonus: basic knowledge of networking, construction principles, or low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems nationwide.
• Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and documentation.
• Work with industry-standard tools and testing equipment.
• Build expertise in cabling, networking fundamentals, and system integration.
• Partner with experienced technicians to develop skills.
• Deliver excellent service while representing Black Box at customer sites.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards on each project.
