Job summary

Black Box is seeking a Field Technician to manage day-to-day service operations for installations and deployments in Connecticut. You will coordinate with project managers and support teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution, while maintaining a strong customer-service orientation.

The role requires experience in data communications, cabling, and network equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data communications networks and terminology.
• Experience with cabling, patching, and network equipment.
• Ability to explain technical issues to customers in understandable terms.
• Experience in troubleshooting network performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service operations for installations, delivery, and deployment of resources.
• Maintain customer-service oriented environment focused on issue prediction, detection and resolution.
• Perform technician work and remove barriers to meeting customer expectations; identify root causes and follow up.
