Job summary

Manatal is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Lead Project Technician to support service and large-scale projects nationwide. The role involves installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of data, voice and video systems with extensive fieldwork and travel.

You will interpret blueprints, install structured cabling, and coordinate with teams of 4 to 20 technicians while upholding safety and quality standards. A background in BICSI/NEC guidelines and related certifications is preferred; drivers

Qualifications

Proven experience installing and troubleshooting low-voltage systems.
Willingness to travel up to 95% nationwide.
Knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA).
Certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Belden, Corning) preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, site maps, and technical drawings.
Experience with CCTV, voice and data cabling is a plus.
Strong communication and team-lead capabilities (4–20 technicians).
Proficiency with color codes and safe conduit installation.
Able to work in confined spaces and at heights >40 ft.
Experience operating boom or scissor lifts.
Have basic telecom tools, PPE, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems and low-voltage infrastructure.
Run low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling and limited conduit work.
Ensure cables are properly tied, labeled, and bundled per safety standards.
Install cable support structures (j-hooks, racks, innerduct).
Conduct system tests and inspections for proper operation and safety compliance.
Troubleshoot network or cabling issues to ensure performance.
Repair and maintain cable poles and towers when required.
Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients and supervisors.
Perform additional duties as assigned by project management.
Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism on job sites.
