Job summary

Sitemetric LLC in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Field Tech III to own advanced deployments and lead a pod of field technicians across multiple sites. You will deploy and configure IoT sensor systems, manage wireless networks, mentor new hires, and ensure safety, quality, and reliability while delivering real-time insights to customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience installing and deploying industrial sensor technologies.
• 3+ years in construction technology, industrial automation, or similar field deployed tech environments.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications.
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Construction Site Safety).
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms and data integration.
• Ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers, and all people on the job site.
• Detail orientation and ability to prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment.
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite.
• Experience with Access Control Systems, Networking, Cameras or IoT devices, Low-voltage systems and structured cabling.
• Current license to operate a motor vehicle may be required at some job sites.
• Competence with mobile device configuration, scanners, or tablets used in the field.
• Preferred: 2+ years on-the-ground construction or industrial experience.
• Preferred: Background with access control systems or security technologies.
• Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, networking, IT.

Responsibilities

• Training of New Field Tech Hires: Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Management of Pod of 2-5 Field Techs: Coordinate daily assignments, safety compliance, and travel schedules.
• Deploy and Install IoT Systems: Install environmental, motion, proximity, BLE, NFC, LTE, and RFID devices per specs.
• System Configuration and Testing: Configure devices, establish wireless connections, and test data transmission.
• On-Site Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and perform repairs to restore operations.
• Document and Report Field Activities: Maintain installation records and reports for management.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with enterprise teams and customers for project success.
• Manage Field Operations Independently: Plan daily activities and travel logistics across sites.
