Job summary

Sitemetric is seeking a Field Tech III to lead on-site IoT deployments and mentor a small team of technicians across multiple construction sites. You will install, configure, and test environmental sensors, BLE/NFC devices, and wireless networks while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role requires hands-on leadership, travel, and flexibility to support nationwide deployments. Join a dynamic field team and contribute to high‑impact projects that shape how construction tech is deployed

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience installing and deploying industrial sensor technologies.
• 3+ years in construction technology or field deployed tech environments.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Construction Site Safety).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and data integration.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor field tech hires on deployments.
• Manage a pod of 2–5 Field Techs with daily assignments.
• Deploy and install IoT sensor systems across sites.
• Configure devices and establish wireless network connections.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues to restore operations.
• Document installation details and report to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Organize field operations and travel logistics.
