Job summary

Clean Harbors in Location is seeking a Field Services Technician II to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to perform physical labor, and willingness to respond to emergencies that may require travel and extended hours.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• On-call availability and extended emergency response shifts may occur.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies and perform tasks safely.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools as needed.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Complete paperwork such as inspections and permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Safe loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
