Job summary

Clean Harbors in Longview, WA is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities include on-call emergency response on a rotating basis, operating light and heavy equipment, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements while

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job responsibilities.
• Position includes emergency response and on-call duties; weekends/holidays may be required; some shifts may exceed 8 hours.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and medical exam as required by the position.
• Respiratory protection standards apply for respirator positions per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by following policies and procedures.
• Perform strenuous physical tasks and operate light/heavy equipment.
• Use hand tools and powered equipment with PPE as required.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions, indoors or outdoors.
• Comply with DOT, state and federal regulations for vehicle operation.
