Job summary

Clean Harbors in Tualatin, OR is seeking a Field Services Technician II to join our safety-conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, follow strict safety policies, operate tools and equipment, and be on-call for emergency responses on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Be on-call with potential weekend/holiday shifts.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pass background check, drug test, and fitness assessment.
• Experience in field labor or remediation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies to keep Health and Safety as a top priority.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools.
• Wear and use PPE per OSHA guidelines and site rules.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Complete paperwork and regulatory compliance documents.
