Job summary

IBM is seeking a Systems Services Representative to join our TLS team in the Knoxville area. You will be the on-site trusted advisor, installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing enterprise IT infrastructure across IBM and multi-vendor environments.

You will travel within the territory, provide proactive maintenance guidance, and ensure minimal downtime for clients while delivering world-class service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer service experience and commitment to client success.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to follow technical procedures and perform repairs.
• Basic computer hardware knowledge including drives, memory, networking basics.
• Comfort with laptops, hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers, coordinating hardware and software support.
• Deliver on-site service including installation, maintenance, upgrades and repair of enterprise systems.
• Advise on preventive maintenance and best practices to maximize performance and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues and manage critical situations.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to provide responsive on-site support.
