Job summary

United Utility Services is seeking an entry-level Survey Technician I to support ground-based utility inspections, data capture, and field crew activities. You will learn field standards, capture pole data, take photographs, and assist with LiDAR tasks as part of a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level candidates will be considered.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Ability to operate cameras/tablets to field standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground-based pole inspections under supervision.
• Capture field photographs and collect asset data.
• Support field crew productivity and data management.
• Travel frequently and work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Learn LiDAR operation under supervision and guidance.
