Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. in Bellevue, WA seeks a Survey Party Chief to lead boundary, topography, ALTA, right‑of‑way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.

You will operate and maintain Trimble and Leica equipment, collect field data, and perform calculations. The role requires a High School Diploma and 5 years of field survey experience; associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of field survey experience.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Clean driving record required (no more than 3 accidents and/or moving violations in 36 months or 2 in 12 months).
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform boundary, topography, ALTA, right‑of‑way, and construction surveys.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment (Trimble, Leica).
• Collect and process field data; perform complex survey computations.
• Maintain field notes, data files, and computation sheets.
• Inspect and verify accuracy of deliverables before submission.
• Coordinate, lead, and mentor survey crew personnel.
