Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Survey Party Chief in Olympia, WA.

You will join a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys for public and private clients, while operating and maintaining survey equipment and coordinating with DEA staff and clients on projects. You will reduce data, perform calculations, and prepare data for submission, with office involvement including data reduction and file organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of field survey experience.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic and accountability.
• Clean driving record (no more than 3 accidents/violations in 36 months or 2 in 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Manage boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment (Trimble, Leica).
• Collect and process field data; perform survey computations.
• Maintain detailed field notes and computation sheets.
• Inspect and verify accuracy of deliverables before submission.
• Coordinate, lead, and mentor survey crew personnel.
