Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Survey Party Chief in Bellevue, WA to lead field surveys and data collection for boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction projects. The role includes operating survey equipment and collaborating with DEA staff and clients.

You will perform field computations, maintain notes, and ensure deliverables are accurate, with opportunities to grow within the Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of field survey experience.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Clean driving record required (no more than 3 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 12 months)

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, including Trimble total stations, Trimble GPS equipment, and Leica electronic levels
• Collect and process field data; perform complex survey computations using software such as Trimble Business Center and Leica
• Maintain detailed and accurate field notes, data collection files, and computation sheets
• Inspect and verify accuracy of deliverables before submission
• Coordinate, lead, and mentor survey crew personnel
