Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Survey Party Chief to supervise and perform Boundary, Topographic, Construction, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys across Virginia. You will lead field crews, train staff on equipment operation, and ensure accurate records and safety practices.

The role requires 3+ years in land surveying, proficiency with Trimble/Total Station/Leica, and a valid driver's license, with extensive travel to project sites. Fully onsite position in Glen Allen, VA, with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in land surveying (boundary, ALTA, topographic, construction).
• Proficiency with Trimble, Total Station, Data Collectors, Leica and magnetic locators.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform survey calculations and maintain field records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and conduct Boundary, Topographic, Construction, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys and related surveys.
• Research and analyze data from various sources for survey projects.
• Identify and report field issues to the office.
• Explain scope of work to field crews and debrief daily with Field Coordinator and Office Staff.
