Job summary

SEH, an employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead our Geospatial Data Services field team. You will oversee field surveys, boundary and topographic tasks, and coordinate with office staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

This role requires travel, physical work outdoors, and the ability to work independently. We value collaboration, safety, and communication, with opportunities for professional growth and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Understanding of field survey methods, plan reading and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the survey crew and oversee field surveys including boundary, topographic, land title surveys and construction staking.
• Assist with data reduction, DTMs, and preparation of right-of-way plats and boundary surveys.
• Provide technical assistance with easement descriptions and courthouse research.
• This position is open to candidates residing in Rochester, MN.
