Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey construction layout experience.
• Experience with Topcon equipment with magnet field software a plus.
• Ability to perform data collector calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Ability to work independently.
• Organizational skills to plan and schedule work.
• Capable of working with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, surveyors, architects and technicians.

Responsibilities

• In charge of the daily activities of field Survey crew
• In charge of daily crew operations such as construction staking, subdivision staking, boundary and topographic surveys
• Prepares daily field notes on projects
• Performs minor calculations in the field for staking
• Performs daily data uploads and downloads
• Maintains survey equipment and vehicles
• Provide direction to survey technicians
• Perform quality control
• May require travel and overnight stay. Daily per diem provided for lodging and meals
