Job summary

King Surveyors is seeking a Crew Chief to lead field crews on diverse surveying projects around Windsor, CO. The role covers boundary surveys, control work, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA’s, and easement/right-of-way projects.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure accuracy and safety, read construction plans, and coordinate data collection using robotic total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors (Trimble preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ total survey experience.
• Experience controlling surveying instruments and calculators.
• Proficient with robotic total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors (Trimble preferred).
• Ability to read construction plans and organize field notes.
• Good social, written and oral communication skills.
• Train and mentor entry level surveyors.
• Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
• Valid Driver’s License with insurable driving record.
• Background check required.
