Job summary

DCCM seeks a Survey Crew Chief to lead field surveying for land development and infrastructure projects. You will oversee crew operations, ensure data accuracy, maintain equipment, and serve as the primary field representative for survey assignments.

You will use Trimble GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors to collect, manage, and deliver high-quality survey data while mentoring technicians and enforcing safety and quality standards on every job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of field surveying experience.
• Minimum 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting civil engineering, land development, or transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct field survey crews on boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and utility surveys.
• Operate and maintain Trimble GNSS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
• Perform construction layout and staking for site development and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, PSMs, and project managers regarding field conditions.
• Prepare field notes, reports, sketches, and deliverables; ensure quality control.
