Job summary

Vision IT is seeking a Field Support Technician to join the Field Services team in a secure, mission-focused environment. You will set up, install, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user devices while ensuring compliant IT operations for critical personnel and systems.

The role requires a proactive, technically proficient professional with experience in desktop support and field services, capable of handling sensitive assets and delivering timely resolutions, including after-hours support when

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop support, field services, or systems administration.
• Active Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Strong data recording accuracy and incident resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for end-user devices, including setup, installation, configuration, connectivity, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Ensure secure access to enterprise networks and resources; respond to issues per SLOs and deliver after-hours support as needed.
• Manage inventory and documentation of assets; coordinate with teams to meet cybersecurity requirements and audit readiness.
• Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, access controls, maintenance activities, and service performance metrics.
