Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - HKK is seeking a Seasonal Field Support Technician to set up and break down kiosks at local retail stores in Long Beach, CA. The role involves driving a moving truck, carrying equipment, and performing basic installation tasks with hand tools.

You will help maintain brand appearance and assist in store maintenance activities. Ideal candidates have basic computer knowledge and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Driver's license preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer functions helpful but not required.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up and teardown of kiosk furniture, computers, tech, and kiosk components using hand tools.
• Meets deadlines to ensure locations meet brand/marketing appearance standards.
• Help maintain a clean and inviting workplace (trash removal, vacuuming, cleaning counters/glass).

Our Seasonal Field Support Technician is responsible for completing the set-up and break-down of our kiosks in various local retail stores. Tasks include driving a moving truck, carrying equipment into the location, setting up a kiosk, and location maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of computer/tech installation, but this is not required.

What you’ll do here:

• Assist with the set-up and teardown of kiosk furniture, computers, tech, and kiosk components using hand tools.
• Meets deadlines to ensure office locations meet our brand/marketing appearance standards.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and inviting workplace, this may include removal of trash, vacuuming or sweeping, cleaning counters, cleaning glass, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills you’ll bring for success:

• Driver’s license preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer functions is preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience.

Physical Demand and Work Effort

• Standing, walking, sitting.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 lbs. at one time.
• Must be able to hold, carry, and move equipment, tools, and materials.
• Compliance with company policies and standards.
