Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support outside plant fiber construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery. The role collaborates with Field Operations, Engineering, and contractors across Portland and Seattle.

Candidates should have 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, strong knowledge of fiber deployment (FTTx, GPON), and ability to travel 30–40% with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of OSP/ISP construction or project coordination.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTx, GPON) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fiber construction, engineering prints, schematics and specs.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to support planning, execution, and restoration efforts.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through invoicing/completion.
• Ensure project activities align with timelines, scope, and company standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify quality of work.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide field feedback to improve design effectiveness and constructability.
• Act as a liaison between Engineering, Operations, contractors, and project managers.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation in applicable systems.
