Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support OSP fiber construction projects across hybrid sites in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA. You will work with Field Operations, Engineering, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality, including site visits and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, strong knowledge of GPON/FTTx, and the ability to travel 30-40%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Telecommunications or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience in OSP/ISP construction, engineering support, or project coordination.
Experience with fiber network deployments (FTTx, GPON) preferred.
Strong knowledge of underground, buried, and aerial fiber construction and engineering prints.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to support project planning, execution, and restoration.
Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through invoicing/completion.
Ensure timelines, scope, and standards alignment for all activities.
Inspect field work for quality and adherence to engineering designs and safety rules.
Review contractor invoices for accuracy and completion.
Provide field feedback to improve design and constructability.
Maintain project records and provide status updates on risks and issues.
Act as liaison between Engineering, Operations, contractors, and project managers.
