Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support Outside Plant fiber construction projects, including FTTx and GPON, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.

You will work cross-functionally with Field Operations, Engineering, contractors, and project management to execute and report activities, travel 30-40%, and maintain accurate project records. Hybrid role in Portland and Seattle with USDA/US standards guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Telecommunications or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction or project coordination.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTx, GPON) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fiber construction, engineering prints, schematics and specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to plan, execute, and restore projects.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation through invoicing/completion.
• Ensure activities align with timelines, scope, and company standards.
• Monitor construction progress and verify quality of work by internal teams and contractors.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy and completion.
• Provide field feedback to improve design and constructability.
• Report on project status, risks, and issues timely.
