Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support OSP fiber deployment projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. The role collaborates with Field Operations, Engineering, contractors, and project management to execute projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, strong organization and communication skills, and is comfortable with site visits and travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, engineering support, or project coordination.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTx, GPON) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of underground, buried, and aerial fiber and related drawings.
• Ability to travel 30–40% and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to support project planning, execution, and restoration efforts.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through invoicing/completion.
• Ensure project activities align with timelines, scope, and company standards.
• Inspect OSP work prints and construction activities for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Provide field feedback to improve design effectiveness and constructability.
• Review and approve contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with tracking project costs and maintaining documentation.
