Job summary

Solenis LLC is seeking a Support Engineer for the Pulp and Water division in Riegelwood, North Carolina. The role focuses on routine field testing, data entry, and customer support to ensure optimal chemical programs.

You will work with customers to resolve issues, manage inventories, adjust feeds, and collect trial data while coordinating with site teams. A science or technical degree is preferred, with strong problem solving and relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or other technical field; experience may substitute for degree.
• Strong ability to solve complex technical problems and non-routine issues.
• Proven relationship management and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites and record data.
• Interface with customers to resolve chemical or equipment issues.
• Manage product inventory and deliver to process units and customer tanks.
• Adjust chemical feed levels and monitor performance; deliver chemical and collect trial data.
• Troubleshoot problems and alert site management to opportunities or issues.
• Conduct extended testing to identify dosage improvements and mechanical impacts.
• Spec out and service monitoring and feed equipment; maintain calibration.
• Collaborate with site teams and customers to optimize program performance.
