Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Support Engineer for the Pulp and Water division in Riegelwood, North Carolina. The role centers on on-site testing, monitoring, data entry, and customer collaboration to ensure optimal chemical performance and program reliability.

You will develop expertise in Solenis technologies while supporting inventory control, equipment installation, and lab work. A technical degree and readiness for field work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Quickly learn Solenis technologies.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites.
• Interface with customers to resolve chemical or equipment issues.
• Manage customer inventory and deliveries to process units.
• Adjust chemical feed levels and compile trial data.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate opportunities to the site manager.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and feed equipment.
• Collaborate with site teams to optimize program performance.
• Train to conduct lab testing, repair/install chemical feed equipment, and inventory control.
