UtiliQuest, LLC in Florida is seeking a Field Supervisor to join the Southeast Region Operations Team. You will manage field crews of Damage Prevention Technicians, schedule work, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

We value strong communication, hands-on leadership, and the ability to train and develop technicians. The position involves travel up to 50% and requires a high school diploma or GED with utility locating experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in utility locating or similar field with quality results.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 50%.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Industry knowledge of utility mapping, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Ability to deliver effective field training programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and supervise a team of Damage Prevention Technicians who drive KPI performance.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture for all employees.
• Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control.
• Conduct audits on field personnel to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
• Create and maintain good working relationships with clients, excavators, regulators, employees, and the public.
• Assist Center Manager in staffing and final hiring decisions.
• Oversee locating of utilities and assist technicians with difficult finds.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a professional appearance.
• Validate and approve daily personnel time reports.
• Develop, mentor and evaluate technicians and manage morale.
• Complete JSOs (Job Safety Observations) and perform ticket production as needed.
• Weekend work may be required.
