Job summary

Vannguard Utility Partners, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee underground utility locating teams across assigned territories. You will lead field technicians, ensure safe, accurate locates, and act as the primary liaison among field staff, dispatch, and contractors.

Responsibilities include coaching, QA audits, and ensuring compliance with state One‑Call laws and APWA/OSHA standards. Valid driver’s license and experience leading a 15+ person team are essential for this full‑time role

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 2+ years leading a team of 15+ individuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ticketing software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor underground utility locating teams; onboarding and field ride-alongs.
• Audit locates, manage high‑risk assignments, investigate damages, calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Enforce safety standards (APWA, OSHA) and lead toolbox talks.
• Act as liaison between field staff, dispatch, management, contractors and utility partners.
• Track work orders, team productivity and compliance metrics.
