Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects across the United States, with the first assignment in northeast Ohio. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, scheduling, contract conformance, drawings, and strong client relations.

You will supervise subcontractors, maintain project records, write daily and quality inspection reports, and ensure use of the latest drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the intent of the drawings.
• Ensure all work adheres to the established project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label each photograph.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• May provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade and/or subcontractor in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Provide proper correspondence with project management and clients clearly and professionally.
• Maintain on-site records and files per The Perry Group document control requirements.
• Understand and follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and related quality systems instructions.
