Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client sites nationwide, with the first project in northeast Ohio. You will manage safety, quality control, scheduling, drawings conformance, and client relations, often under limited supervision on complex projects.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, progress photography, contract extras, and coordination with the Project Construction Manager. 100% travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and drawings were followed.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs and label them for records.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use latest design drawing revisions.
• Support Project Construction Manager when needed.
• Coordinate contract extras and progress payments with Project Manager.
• Correspond with project management and clients to resolve issues clearly and professionally.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.
• Follow CDM Smith Quality Policy and related Work Instructions.
