Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects across the United States; the initial project is in northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety and quality, managing schedules, conforming to drawings and specs, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with project managers and clients. The role may support other superintendents on larger projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 6+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and drawings compliance.
• Maintains project schedule and escalates delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Takes progress photos and labels each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with Project Manager.
• Provides proper correspondence with project management and clients; maintains on-site records per document control requirements.
