Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects nationwide, with the first assignment in northeast Ohio. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, scheduling, contract conformity, and strong client relations.

You will supervise subcontractors, maintain project documentation, prepare progress reports, and ensure drawings and revisions are properly followed. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in CM/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction for safety, quality, and drawings intent.
• Maintain schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily and Quality Inspection Reports for records and review.
• Capture progress photos and label them for documentation.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports for project stakeholders.
• Ensure latest design revisions are used in construction.
• Support the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Assist with key trade/subcontractor coordination as required.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear correspondence with project teams and clients.
• Keep on-site records per The Perry Group requirements.
• Follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and procedures.
