Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Superintendent Intern/Co-op to gain hands-on exposure across the full lifecycle of construction projects. You will work with experienced field leaders on site, learning mobilization, safety, scheduling, and quality control.

The role emphasizes active participation, strong communication, and a solid work ethic, with opportunities to advance within a top design/build firm.

Qualifications

• GPA minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrolled in Civil/Architectural/Construction Engineering or Construction Management degree.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Active Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations – Gain exposure to how ARCO manages daily job site activities from site mobilization through project completion.
• Safety Leadership – Participate in daily safety meetings, job site inspections, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Scheduling & Coordination – Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities and monitoring progress to keep projects on schedule.
• Quality Control – Observe and support quality inspections to ensure work meets plans and ARCO standards.
