Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in the United States is seeking a motivated Superintendent Intern/Co-op to gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of a project, working with seasoned field leaders on real construction tasks.

You will participate in field operations, safety leadership, scheduling, and quality control, learning from experienced professionals while contributing to on-site activities and improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrolled in Civil/Architectural/Construction Engineering or Construction Management degree program.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Active Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations – Gain exposure to daily site activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Safety Leadership – Participate in daily safety meetings, site inspections, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Scheduling & Coordination – Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities and monitoring progress to keep projects on schedule.
• Quality Control – Observe and support quality inspections to ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and ARCO standards.
