Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent 2 to manage field operations on client projects across the United States, starting with northeast Ohio. You will oversee safety, quality control, scheduling, drawings compliance, and client relations under limited supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting progress with reports and photos, coordinating with Project Management, and ensuring subcontractors meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees on-site subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensures work aligns with the project schedule; informs Project Construction Manager of delays.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
• Takes progress photos and labels them for documentation.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawings.
• May support the Project Construction Manager and key subcontractors as needed.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Maintains on-site records per company requirements.
• Follows The Perry Group Quality Policy and related procedures.
