Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is a full-service, design-build, general construction and construction management firm. The Site Superintendent 2 will oversee on-site field operations, safety, quality control, scheduling, and client relations for assigned projects across the United States, starting with a project in northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities include daily reports, progress photos, contract extras, and coordination with Project Managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nine+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with six+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with three+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Maintains project schedule and escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports and ensures latest design revisions are used.
• Assists Project Construction Manager and may oversee key trades/subcontractors.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Maintains on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.
• Ensures clear, professional correspondence with project management and clients.
